My passion is making people feel beautiful by creating a hairstyle perfectly suited for them.  My 10+ years of experience in the beauty industry includes nine years of coloring, cutting, and styling hair, and several years in makeup and skin care.  

I grew up in Beaverton and attended Cosmetology Careers Unlimited - but my real education has been in the field, talking to women and men about how to make their hair look great.  I believe that education is a lifelong pursuit and attend workshops by the top hair brands on emerging trends and new products. After working for several salons in the Portland area, I am now based at Mint Beauty Lounge, just 15 minutes from downtown Portland.

When I'm not at the salon, I'm probably at the park or the zoo with the loves of my life, my sons August and Zander, who both knew how to properly apply hair gel by preschool!
